Provide care for adult patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions, whether they are surgical patients or not. These are often patients with a variety of diagnoses. Faculty in each of the wards in the department also contribute to student learning by offering a diverse spectrum of clinical experience to different levels of nursing students through innovative clinical teaching methods including Problem Based Learning for the students. They are also involved in organizing screening and awareness programmes for the public. The nursing faculty supervises the provision of quality care to patients. Students fulfil their specific requirements in the department.
